It operates the 23.5 MW Solu (Upper Solu) Hydropower Project, a run-of-river scheme developed at Q40 on the Solu River in Solukhumbu district, Koshi Province, with total project cost around NPR 5,000 million (about Rs 213 million per MW). USHEC signed a 30-year PPA with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on 10 November 2013, and the project entered commercial operation on 23 March 2020 (generation license validity to mid-March 2049).
