Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited
Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) is a Nepali hydropower company that owns and operates the 3.75 MW Dwari Khola Small Hydropower Project, a run-of-river scheme located at Naumule in Dailekh district, Karnali Province. The company was incorporated on 16 February 2009 as a private limited company and converted into a public limited company on 31 October 2017. Its generation license was issued on 2071/02/26 BS (2014), valid until 2106 BS. The project achieved commercial operation on 6 May 2017 (2074-01-23 BS) and sells its full output to the Nepal Electricity Authority under a 30-year PPA. Total project investment was reported at around INR 750 million (about US$11.6 million). Power is connected to Nepal's national grid.
