It was incorporated as a public limited company on 14 April 1996 and commenced operations on 14 April 1997 after receiving its operating license. Its head office is located at Kupondole (Kandevsthan), Lalitpur. The company was established under the Finance Company Act 2042 BS and the Company Act 2053 BS. It operates branches in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Butwal, Mahottari and Nawalparasi. The company provides deposit, lending and other financial services and is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange.
