Its principal assets are the Chandragiri Cable Car and the Chandragiri Hills Resort, located atop Chandragiri hill in Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Province. The cable car, opened in 2016, runs about 2.4 km from a base station at Thankot to the summit at roughly 2,551 m, using around 38 gondolas of 8 passengers each with a capacity of about 1,000 people per hour. The hilltop resort offers luxury rooms, dining, a swimming pool, spa and adventure activities, accessible only by the cable car.
