Rastriya Beema Company Limited
Rastriya Beema Company Limited is the only non-life (general) insurance company owned by the Government of Nepal. It was established in 2014 AD (2071 BS) as a government-owned public limited company, formed by separating the general insurance business of the Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) and obtaining a non-life insurer's license from the then Insurance Board. Its head office is located in the RBCL Building, Ramshahpath, Kathmandu. As the state-owned 'nation's insurer,' it holds a significant share of Nepal's non-life insurance market and is regulated by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
