Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. is a Class-D (national level) retail microfinance institution, formerly known as Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank Ltd. It came into existence on 15 August 2014 (Shrawan 30, 2071) through the merger of the then five regional-level Grameen Bikas Banks operated across Nepal's former five development regions. The institution was registered as a public limited company under the Company Act 2063 and is regulated under the Bank and Financial Institution Act 2073. Its head office is located in Butwal, Rupandehi district, Lumbini Province. The name was changed from Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank Ltd. to its current name following an Annual General Meeting decision (approved 2074/12/28). It later merged with Samaj Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., beginning joint operation on 19 October 2025 (Kartik 2, 2082).
