Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) is a Nepali national-level Class D microfinance institution (Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha) incorporated in September 2001, which received its microfinance banking license from Nepal Rastra Bank in November 2001. It is an offshoot of the microfinance operations of the Neighborhood Society Service Centre (NSSC), a national-level NGO active in Mahottari and Chitwan since the 1990s. Its corporate office is located at Mid Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The institution aims to improve poor and marginalized women's access to financial services, promote saving habits, encourage income generation, and support micro-enterprise development.
