Miteri Development Bank Proposes 11% Dividend for FY 2082/83: 5% Bonus Shares and 6% Cash
Miteri Development Bank Limited has informed Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) that its Board of Directors has proposed an 11% dividend for fiscal year 2082/83 (2025/26). It comprises 5% bonus shares and 6% cash dividend (including tax), to be distributed from the bank's profit and accumulated profit to shareholders. Distribution is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the bank's 21st Annual General Meeting.
Miteri Development Bank Limited, headquartered in Dharan, Sunsari, has notified Nepal Stock Exchange Limited about its proposed dividend for fiscal year 2082/83 BS. The notice is dated Asoj 10, 2083 BS (about September 26, 2026).
According to the notice, the Board of Directors met at 9:00 AM on Asoj 10, 2083 BS and decided to propose an 11% dividend on the bank's current paid-up capital of Rs. 1,21,71,00,000 (one arba twenty-one crore seventy-one lakh). The dividend will be paid from the profit of FY 2082/83 and the accumulated profit, and consists of:
- 5% bonus shares
- 6% cash dividend (including tax)
The bank will seek approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for the cash dividend distribution. The dividend will be distributed only after it is approved at the bank's upcoming 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM). Once the AGM passes the proposal, the bank will share the distribution details with NEPSE.
The notice was signed by Anant Kumar Chapagain, Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary, and copied to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and CDS and Clearing Limited.
