Barun Hydropower Announces 5% Dividend for FY 2082/83: 4.75% Bonus Share and 0.25% Cash Dividend
Barun Hydropower Company Ltd. has announced a 5% dividend for fiscal year 2082/83, made up of a 4.75% bonus share and a 0.25% cash dividend. The distribution is subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Barun Hydropower Company Limited has announced that its Board of Directors approved a 5% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The board meeting was held on Ashwin 26, 2083 (BS) at 4:00 PM.
The dividend will be distributed from the profit of FY 2082/83 on the company’s current paid-up capital of Rs. 1,12,25,32,425 (Rs. 1.12 arba). It consists of a 4.75% bonus share and a 0.25% cash dividend, and the cash portion is intended to cover the tax payable on the bonus shares.
The company said the bonus shares and cash dividend will be distributed according to the rules once the proposal is approved by the Annual General Meeting. The company has informed the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the Office of the Company Registrar, CDS and Clearing Limited, the Electricity Regulatory Commission, and RBB Merchant Banking Limited. The notice was issued by the Company Secretary.
